Cousins by Blood, Best Friends by Choice.

Since the day I was born into this world, I've been growing up with my cousins. Speaking of growing up, some of us moved, goes to college, meet new friends and making memories of their own but that doesn't mean our hearts are apart. Our hears are still connected no matter what. 

I've been searching for a good quote about cousins and i found one that really suits us. "God made us cousins because he knew our mothers could not handle us as siblings." I have 7 cousins from my mother side and 1 younger brother. So all in all we are 9. Yup nine! Cool right? Meet my cousins! Here's the list. (from eldest to youngest). Weejay, Yeye, Dyan, Vien, Clarice, Aya, Raff, Ranzen and L.A

We spent 3 days together. April 21 to 23 and it was the best 3 days we ever had. We went to the beach, enjoyed the ocean waves, ate delicious food, swimming, laughing, played card games like pusoy dos (our favorite!) and more!

We even had a roadtrip! Ofcourse this will never be our last get together! As we grow up and fulfill our own dreams, our "cousin connections" will always be there.

We may have differences but we are the type of family that will help each other when some falls down. I am very lucky because I have the best cousins ever and I thank God for that.

Mt. Maculot Hiking Experience

This 2015, I've been doing things that are out of my league and one of that is Mountain Hiking. When I knew that we will go hiking, I was like "Yes! wish granted!". 

I prepared my hiking outfit, bags, towels, food and drinks. Here's an example outfit idea you might want to try:

Hat, bag, arm sleeves or you can wear long sleeves too. Men can wear leggings too or long socks for protection.

Mt. Maculot is located at Cuenca,Batangas Philippines. Mt. Maculot is a safe mountain for beginners like me. There are sari-sari stores popularly known as "7-11" in every station at Mt. Maculot. It's a 2 hr trek before you reach the summit. For some moment you might think you want to give up while going to the top. My advice? Don't give up because there's a beautiful scenery at the summit that is waiting for you.   

When you see this breathtaking view from the summit, all of the weary experience you encountered while trekking will be long gone.

What are you still doing there? Go plan for this one of a kind experience! 

Just remember, climbing mountain is not for the world to see you, it's for you to see the world.

Delightful Splash Getaway

Every summer has a story. Summer 2015 is just getting started and so far the exordium of my summer story has been delightful. I spent my first summer 2015 getaway with my college best friends at Splash Island. Spending summer with people who mean the most to me is the best feeling. 

There are lots of exciting slides that surely you'll enjoy. Our favorite slides are the Magellan's Drop and Rio Montanosa. 

I guarantee that you'll have a great time at Splash Island as much as we had. We didn't realize that we're making ecstatic memories, we just knew that we were having fun.

Whenever I watch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on YouTube (my only source of his show), I feel stress free. This show is my stress reliever. I even adopt some game show ideas from his show for our Broadcasting Principles subject such us Flip Cup and Pictionary.

I usually play these songs before going to bed or while sleeping. These song kind a help me to fall asleep!

I'm not really into music but If I listen to a song that gives me  goose bumps or song that has impact to me, I don't hesitate to search the title, download it and add it into my playlist!

Perfect Way to Start My Summer

I survived my second year in college and now it's time to unwind and release all the stress from school works. My mother had the best idea ever when she told me "Let's go to Wensha! I have gift certificates." and I was like "Yes Mom, it's exactly what I need".

What I love about Wensha Spa is that it's really made for releasing stress. My favorite is the eat all you can treat (yeah ofcourse) and the full body massage. There's also Jacuzzi and sauna!

In addition, I love our outfits though. I kind a felt like a real Japanese.
I wish that next time I go to Wensha is that I'm with my friends cause I can imagine that it's going to be fun!

Cheers to another happy summer! I know you guys have been wondering what are the things you might do this summer without spending any penny you got. Well, I know most of you love watching movies and movie marathons with your love ones but what are the best movies that will suit your tastes? here are some!

1. Blended
If you're a fan of Adam Sandler's comedy movies, this movie will make you laugh hard. Yes, I mean it, hard. I know some of you guys miss Drew Barrymore being watched in big screen because as far as I can remember, the last time I saw her in a movie was in Charlie's Angels.  I recommend you watch this movie with your family. Trust me, it's fun!

2. What a Girl Wants

This movie was released 2003. Yes it's already 9 years old but if you haven't watch it, you better! Especially ladies, I assure you that you will love this film! There are links on the internet for you guys to be able to watch this or you can just download it.

3. Big Hero 6

Disney released another awesome movie that will make your heart melt because of the cuteness of Baymax! I mean, who doesn't love baymax? Everyone wants a real life Baymax. (Yep, I want my own Baymax too).

Are you a fan of true story films? This movie is a must watch movie for you guys because it's about the most lethal sniper in U.S history, Chris Kyle. Wanna know more about him? Watch this movie!

5. The Impossible

Do you believe in miracles? Well miracles happen everyday. This movie was also based on true life events. If you watch this movie, you'll realized that family is everything and you'll love them even more. Prepare your tissues and handkerchiefs for some crying experience and witness how a family survived their biggest challenge of their lives.
